The sensors in the bracelet measure the child's pulse, skin temperature and oxygen saturation. The sensor bracelet sends this information to the base station. The base station has a baby call function that picks up sound and measures the room temperature. It sends this, together with the child's measurements from the sensor bracelet, to your smartphone so that you have a full overview and can control the system from the app on your phone. The base station communicates via WiFi, but also has a built-in 4G card. This can be activated with a separate subscription if you want to use BabySensor in places without WiFi coverage.
Setting up BabySensor is simple and intuitive: connect the base station to the power outlet. Place the bracelet in the charging cradle, the magnetic charger in the base station. Connect your mobile to the same WiFi network that BabySensor will be set up on. It must be a 2.4 GHz network, or one that supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. download the BabySensor app from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the instructions in the app to complete the setup.

We use a traffic light system for notification. The system comes with a standard setup for what are normal values for the various sensors, adapted to the child's age. You can adjust these yourself if necessary. You can also define how you want to be notified if the values change from "Everything is OK", to "Pay attention" or to "Please check". * **Everything is OK:** The values are displayed in gray on your mobile. * **Please note:** If something changes and is slightly outside the normal range, the values will be displayed in yellow. You can be notified with a yellow screen, sound and vibration on your mobile, and a yellow light in the base station. * **Please check:** If the measurements are unusual, the values will be displayed in red. You may be notified with a red screen, sound and vibration on your mobile, and a red light in the base station.
BabySensor is designed to fit all children aged 0 to 5 years. Actual usage will likely change with age. When the child is small (0–18 months), the sensor is used regularly. As the child gets older, measurements may only be necessary in special situations. The baby call function is relevant throughout the entire period. To get the most accurate measurements, we recommend placing the bracelet on the upper arm or thigh if the child is very small/thin.
